Sunday Atelier | Feb 28: Slow Fashion Introduction + Repair a Piece!

Learn to breathe new life into your wardrobe while exploring the essential philosophy of the slow fashion movement. This session begins with a theoretical introduction to sustainable garment care and the importance of preserving craftsmanship in a fast fashion world.

The practical portion of the day is dedicated to the art of mending. We invite you to bring one personal garment from home that is in need of repair. Whether it is a small hole, a loose seam, or a missing button, we will teach you the specific handcraft techniques required to fix it yourself.

We provide all tools and mending materials needed to complete your repair. As with all our sessions, a light lunch and refreshments are served in a relaxed atelier setting. After the workshop, you will receive access to the Maison Malou Digital Portal to view professional photography from the day and download a digital guide on garment care.

Please bring one garment that requires a simple repair. Dog friendly. Limited to 10 participants. 11:00 to 17:00.
